well, this is a special one. strengths first: stable at high speeds, carves great, rides well on ice...but the enormaous stiffness makes life somewhat difficult. the nose is not any less stiff than the rest, so not digging it into the snow is difficult in powder. this gets better as you speed up, but riding slow(traverses, flats) through deep snow is a nightmare. as for freestyle: forget it. it may be a good choice for pros off big jumps, but things like noserolls on piste or things like that are nearly impossible.
to sum it up: great on piste regardless the conditions. off-piste, it gets better the worse the snow is. not a good approach. and you need stiff bindings and boots to ride this board, probably step in would be a good choice.
i sold mine and got something more flexible...
