this board rips. i have been riding for 5 years now and have had a board for each year and this board blows all the others out of the water! i've ridden K2, Burton, Avalanche, Morrow and this smokes all of those. the base is super hard and fast. i've hit several large rocks thinking my base would be screwed but when i looked at it at the bottom there was nothing, unbelievable! i had a avalanche 164 before this board and my KJ is way better in the pow and backcountry! this thing floats like a dream. i took it to alaska with chest deep powder and it just stays right on top. this board is sweet for backflips and rodeos in the backcountry or 540's in the park, jibbing, or pipe. this is the best purchase i have ever made. no board is perfect thats why i didn't give it a ten, the only drawback on this board is the black finish shows every dinky scratch. an excellent all around board!
