Props and a bag o' chips to Donek for this board. I have ridden too many boards from K2, Burton and Ride, for too long only to find this great aqua stick from Donek. Longitudinal flex is stiff, this board is no noodle! It has a consistent and ramping Tip and Tail spring rate, which makes it easy to control on jumps (eg takeoffs). Torsional flex is non existent, however, this board will hold a consistent sharp or loose carve regardless of stutter terrain with little effort. You just point and shoot. It is great at absorbing chatter, more so than any board I have owned thus far, and the board's weight is on the lighter side. I don't know how nor really why this piece of workmanship can be as good as it is. When I am on this thing; it feels like an extention of me. It is at home on my feet in what ever terrain and snow it is on. The only pain of it all is I am now lusting for the freeride board with MY CHOICE OF TOP SHEET DESIGN
