When I bought the board they said it was designed by women forwomen so I had to have it. This board is not that heavy but not that light. It depends on how strong you are to move the board around. It holds carves reaaly well and since I have only had board a yr it is not that flexible yet but for a new board it hasgreat flex. It picks up speed well and goes over jumps good. It hard to turn on the gound without losing speed though. I thinkif you have the right stance on the board then it is easy to pullmost tricks that you know. About it being good for women, well I would say yes it is but men could as easily use it. I love the style of the board and how it moves with my upper body movementsIt could be a little lighter since it is not a fiberglass frame.But it is good for rail slides and it preforms rodeos good cause the weight..It sorta acts like a gymnist when once side goes up the other wants to go up when the opposite side goes down. I would reccomend the Diva for 3 yr and up snowboarders.
