This is my first and only board so far but it is great. it's a good weight and does great with carving and on the jumps. The flex can be a little difficult but once u get the hang of its great. I'm a freestyle rider and this board has served wellin holding up my crashes. i have lamar bindings as well, and i would recomend you do the same. boots don't matter, as long as u get a good pair. great beginners board, id highly recommmend it.
