This is my first board since I started last year and am overall happy with it.The only other board I have used have been rossingnol, elan and some other brand i cant remember and this one beats them all hands down (mind ya might just be the better bindings I have on the board and not the ever loosening rental bindings) As a first board it is great, very forgiving, pretty good on the turns and best of all very cheap (only paid around $190). Did notice a little chipping around the edges but the keyword is a little. As a some what new boarder it does the trick for me strap my feet in and gets me down the mountain.Only thing is I should of maybe just maybe choosen a wider board considering I wear a size 12.For the cost you can't beat this board, why go out spend hundreds on a board when its just going to get beat to hell anyway? Happy riding :)BTW Think the graphics on the 2001 control looks much nicer then the 2002 (look cheesy)
