This is my first board and I think it's great. It's gives a soft ride and flexes easily. I'm fairly conservative, but learning to ride with this board was easy-- I've been out twice since an initial lesson and I'm already carving the mountain in complete control. It's a light board, turns when you tell it, and carves well. I'm a lightweight, but tall, and went with the 158 (I thought about the 163 but decided to go shorter). The only bad thing I've noticed is that the top sheet scratches fairly easily and the graphics are a bit on the boring side. Overall a GREAT board.
