I'm middle aged Old School skater that decided to give boarding a try along with my 8 year old. Rented once and that was enough. I wanted a board that would work with my size without going to a wide board. Bought this board and was stoked first time out. Though its got a moderate set-back, switch riding was effortless. Board carves great, doesn't blink when nailing an ice patch, has plenty of speed and is VERY forgiving. Solid landings each time I "accidentally" grabbed air. As long as the board holds up, it will be quite some time before I outperform this board. I wish the outer edge had a better wrap (got 2 good "chinks" in the lift line), but thats the only complaint I've got.
