I would classify myself as an advanced rider. I bought the Atlas because I was looking for a big board to surf on powder and for slopesyle tricks. The board provides good edgehold for carving with its 126,3 cm edgecontact. It performs well in powder because of its 27,3 cm waistwidth, though it is a bit to hard to turn. It is stiffer than the average freesyleboard, so you can enjoy the whole mountain. The base is fast. The board is very light for its size. It is great to jump with. With piperiding there is the one big disadvantage of this board, it is to wide. I had problems turning it and edgeswitching needs to muchs power, though I am a tall and not very light guy. This also appears with longer sloperides. This board was biting my feet, never had that before. This board is only for real big guys, 100 kg and more with feet size over 46. It becomes a real sucker when there are mougles.
