This board performs very well in deep powder with its wider than average waist and light weight deck. The board has a medium flex that is good for mountain riding but not the park. It handles very well through chatter and rough areas. The board is furious on the mountain and can carve like the best of them. All in all, a great freeride carver. Just not a park board though.
