This board is pure Magic! I spend most of my time on a 166cm Rossignol Race board. I have little use for freestyle boards and I very rarely ride fakie. I was looking for an all mountain board that would excel in powder and still manage a good carve on the hardpack. I have yet to take it into the powder however, on the hardpack it carves beautifully. The 4807 worked the crud like butter. I am using Arcane's new step in system with great success. Short radius swing turns are effortless and the transition to a carved turn is equally as impressive. The on edge carve is a bit longer in radius than I would have liked however, on big mountains this would be fun. With the "Ship" type nose it will glide and float through the powder without any effort. I have found that the following binding placement works very well. Measure contact points and divide by two, this will be the reference point. Measure back an inch and use this as center. From there, split your stance width equally measuring from this center point. I found a 30 degree front angle and a 25 degree back angle works very well. This is a great place to start. If I were to travel and take only one board this would be it. Any questions? Please feel free to email me. Thanks.
