I rode my 165 Wide Donek for the first time this week. I rode it all day and was having a great time. For the last run of the day, I switched my bindings back to my old board, a 99/2000 Ride Timeless 164. This was my way of checking what my instincts had been telling me all day. What shocked me, was how bad the Timeless now felt. It rode like the worst board ever made. Itfelt like it was 155cm long, would not carve a turn, chattered like crazy, and was noisy. I never noticed the loud noises it made before. I could even feel it yawing when I rode it flat. I felt like it was going to catch an edge any second. All of this still amazes me. How could these boards be so superior they made a Timeless feel like the worst board ever made?I feel fortunate to have discovered these boards.
