This board is great for beginners on a budget. It's made out of fiber-composite, not cheap plastic that snaps like Echos. The bindings are pretty good. This board turns well with the steel edge and handles jumps and tricks well. I reccommend this to someone who wants to try snowboarding without spending too much-the board retails for around $100. It will make learning easier because it won't break. It's really a pretty good board compared to Echos. And once you learn the basics, this board will allow you to do tricks easily.
