I bought this board when I first started riding because it was cheap (under $300 for the package). I think I got a decent deal. This board has good flex and is really forgiving so it is great for someone just starting out. It does not hold well on ice but I was able to hold on to it for the most part since it was pretty short for me. It has no pop so if your wanting to hit the parks I would not suggest this board. It is pretty slow too. But again, it is forgiving so if your looking for something to start out on and you find a good deal, go for it.
