Having learned the basics on sh*tty rental boards I got this board second hand and as soon as I took it to my local dry slope I knew I had got the right board. I didn't know much about boards but it just felt soooo good. I've ridden it now for two seasons and its been fantastic, taking me from a rookie who could barely link turns to someone who has wet dreams about snowboarding (I'm sure most of you know what i'm talking about). The only problem is that I'm at the stage now where I want to ride something slightly stiffer and longer for high speeds and more progression. I'm not going to sell it though, cos it's great for learning new stuff. Basically it's a sic board for anyone who is just setting out on the great adventure that is snowboarding. It is a jack of all trades (freestyle, freeride, powder + piste) but master of non. *BE WARNED* If you are new to snowboarding and have a ride on this board, you too will be having wet dreams about snow covered mountains........ The only negative thing I can think of about this board is that the deck seems to scratch and chip easily. Also it doesn't handle speed too well, but then you don't need that when you are learning. I'm not a freak, i'm an addict. If anyone knows where I can go to a snowboarders anonymous meeting........
