The board has a wood core which makes it very stiff and heavy, but it should last a long time. As far as carves, it is awesome. I only paid about $200-$250 for the whole package (boots/board/bindings), but so far the quality has been great. It's sweet for just hangin out and ridin for fun but if ur lookin for a board to use in the pipe, this isnt the way to go. It comes down surprisingly soft on landings. The board's colors are pretty boring too, no special designs or anything. If ur just lookin for a cheap way to get out there and just cruise around, this is a great board.
