This was my "beginner" board. I rode about 30 days last winter, from the bunny slopes in December to the single black diamonds in March. I am pleased with this board because it held up well to all my mistakes-- riding on dirt or solid ice. It is a better board than I am -- so far. It is a fast, stiff board. I ride in the east and some of the trails are narrow, and I don't think this is the board for that type of riding. It needs space for turning. It handled the crud well, due to it's stiffness. Durability seems to be great, nothing falling apart. As my skills increase, I think I will be able to "use" all the advantages this board offers.
