First of all I'd like to bring out that this was my first snowboard ever and my first season riding. I rented a couple different boards a burton Motion and a Burton Canyon before I rode my Lamar. Let me tell you the Burtons were excellent boards but they didn't give me the same feel as the Lamar( Which I really liked). First of all the board is stiff and as light as a board should be without losing durability. My board took one heck of a beating, and still looks like it has been babied. It fell off my roof rack on rte. 80 and only suffered a minor scratch( I was extremely lucky). Even though I am a beginner I rode this board hard through the park. I wacked the board hard several times with my failed 360 attempts. The board turns much quicker then any other one that I have tried. Overall I think it is an excellent board. If you are lookin for a great board without spnding to much dough go with this one.
