Very nice all-mountain freeride board, that I got used for purposes of having a park/pipe board with more edgehold than the norm. Good edge hold, damp but not dead. Very smooth through medium to large radius turns. The flex is moderately stiff, but it's still an easy board to ride, and the flex seems to be fairly even from just below the nose down. On a "poppieness" rating of 1-10, I'd probably give it a 3, but I got it used so that may not be a fair rating. Given my weight,it worked surpisingly well in soft snow with the bindings set back an extra inch, for someone lighter it'd do well in powder. My only real criticism is the width. It's quite narrow, 24.1 cm waist, so for roughly size 8.5 or so feet or larger you will need either to ride with high stance angles or with PowerLinks. The waist suggests a specialized board, and this is such a good all-around board that at 160 I'd expect it to be at least 25 cm or so wide to allow for lower stance angles.
For a pleasant, quality but affordable freeride board I'd definitely be willing to buy it retail at www.donek.com if the width works for your feet and riding style.
