The FC is my first board and I couldn't be happier with it. The only other boards I have ridden have been rentals and I couldn't believe the difference in quality and feel. It's a fairly stiff board and is probably better for cruising as opposed to park riding. I do launch with it though, but from what I've heard it might be harder to spin around, like in the halfpipe or off a jump. It rides fakie almost as well as it does forward, so again, it's not strictly a carving board. The graphics don't hurt either (in a time where most companies rely on muted, hard-edged, computer-looking graphics). The FC is a top-end board for serious riders, and it handles great: responsive, fast, fun.
