This board holds its edge great in hardpack\ice. Carves very well. The tip-to-tail flex seems to be a little too soft for me. Its around a medium flex pattern(I prefer a stiff flex), but is very lively and has great torsional flex (particularly towards the tail). The effective edge is 123.3cm, which is great for a 157 board. Progressive side cut is relatively deep for a freeride board but doesn't seem to effect high-speed ride too much. has a piezo electric dampening system that is supposed to work according to other reviews. however, i can't tell because i have a fat doc. scholl's foot bed plus awesome drake bindings that would kill small vibrations anyways. has awesome floatation in powder. FAST AS HELL thanks to electra base and deep stoneground structures!! overall a great board.
