Why is everyone dissing Echos?! This is a great board! Sure, you probably can go down hill a lot smoother on a 2x4 but why take the easy way out?! If you can ride this baby without breaking your ankle then you must be a natural. And if you can master the moves on an Echos you can switch to any snowboard (no matter how cheap) and immediately be an expert. Give it a try, spend one year on an Echos and companies will be lining up to sponsor you!! Peace.
