Even though this is only my first season I've gone from the bunny slopes to black diamonds with this board. I feel like it is a trusty board. It goes all over and lets me try jumping even though I'm not any good at it yet. It's pretty stiff and it didn't get bogged down in the fresh when I rode through the trees at Killington. It's also pretty light, especially for a skinny-armed chick like me. But when I ride with the guys I can't keep up. Some of that is due to my ability, but I wonder if the board could be faster as well. And though I'm only in my first season, I don't think it carves very well. It seems like I have to make a real effort to bend the board while carving. It lets me try things but it doesn't let me kill myself by going too fast. I'm glad I had this one as my beginner board and I'm looking into trying a Ride board. It was reasonably priced and I got Gnu bindings to match and everything feels good. It's not flashy and people chuckle when I tell them that I ride a Gnu. But it's a good stiff board to learn on. It's not some sooperdooper burton, rossi, or forum board. I'm very comfortable with it and the guy at threads and sleds helped me pick a good board. It's just trusty.
