When I pulled up this site, I had no intention of submittinga review, due to my lack of riding experience. However, since I am apparently the sole Nidecker owner in the western hemisphere,I feel obligated to represent. Here goes. I bought this board from a reputable shop after consulting w/ the owner re: Ht, Wt,yrs. riding etc. Price was not really a factor. This board isvisually, very subdued. No skulls, crossbones, famous guys names,etc.,etc. Off-white w/ a desert mirage sort of motif. The sort of thing you might expect from someone w/ my background. This board is stiff!! It carves long sweeping arcs that my skier budscan only dream of. I don't trick yet so, I can't help there, but,w/ the spring it has at either end, experienced riders ought tobe pretty comfortable. Weight seems on par w/ my buddiesOption Sansalone. He rode my board and raved about it's predictable manners and, rock solid hook-up, then he wanted his back! But, that's the beauty of it. He's bangin' his 540's androdeo's, and God knows what else, Me? smooth, comfortable, almostdare I say pretty? I don't know if I've got any business rating a board, but, I'll tell you this, when I bought this board, I thought I'd spend a couple days w/ it, then pull out the skis whenthings get serious, last week my skis got re-gifted to my brother.Bottom line, this board did what it's supposed to do. I'm a recent convert, on my my way to fanatic. Just like it ought to be Ride like it's your last day, and thank you, to all of you. JR
