This is a good, but not great, board. It's stable, floats well in powder, and reasonably fast. Its knocks are that it isn't quick edge to edge and so heavily favors the long curve. It's tough to do short quick turns with this board (I know, most freeride decks are like that, but I want that unique jewel that can turn long AND short. It's out there although it's usually one of the more expensive boards.)
I moved from a Salomon FRA500 165cm to this deck and I know it isn't fair to compare a high end Salomon to Airwalk's third best board (behind the A1 and B1), nevertheless the difference is blantanly obvious. The FRA can carve long AND short and generally has better response. I know the 169 length may have something to do with the diminished response but bottom line is, I don't like boards that only turns long. If you're one of the riders who don't mind or prefer long turns, this may be your baby.
