This board is the smoothest ride i've ever been on. Its a new product from Gnu, as they geneticly engneered their own wood. They took Balsa, because it is super-light, Aspen, because of its stregnth and good flex, and Bamboo because it grows fast, bends wonderfully, and dosen't rot, and threw them togeather to make their own tree. This makes for a board that is light, strong, and more snap than a firecracker!! It has a nice sidecut and carves like a champ. Gnu also put in its ingenious tip and tail bumpers and tucked in edges to protect the high quality board from rocks and such. The base on the board uses Krytox, an additive from DuPont, that lowers the co-efficant of friction between the base and the snow. Resulting is a super fast base. I actully had no wax on the base and i still flew past everyone i was with. This board rocks, I can fly of of jumps with no effort at all and the board springs off of kickers like nobodys bussiness. The price tag runs about $500, but if you know someone that works at a shop that sells Gnu and Lib Tech's tha you can get it for about $250. Thats what i did and i love them for it!!! I will always buy Gnu and Lib for as long as i ride.
