Undeniably the best board I have been strapped to. I went on a seven day, three state, five mountain road trip this season. It hadn't snowed in two weeks, so you can imagine the conditions. Everywhere I went, I was the fastest on the slope. The last day, we got 8 inches of powder. Same story. People couldn't catch me. It is the widest and longest board I have rode, and is still the most resposive. The stability is unbelieveable. The true test is when you hit the fast and steep. When you carve a turn at 40mph, you have no fear of losing it, even in the hard chop. There is virtually no chatter at all. When you land air, the board doesn't get squirrely on touchdown-it just sticks to the snow. The only downfall that I think someone could find with the board is that you can tell that it is handmade. It doesn't have the high dollar graphics that some boards use as a selling point, but you can custom order your graphics at a small extra cost. Plus, the boards are only $250-300 to begin with. Half the price, twice the board. When you order a board, the owner himself takes the order and makes the board. I really wish that I could be more critical of my board, but I truly can't. I was in love my first time off the lift with it, and I know that when this board is old and tired, I'll go right back to Donek.
